Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Dark Chocolate

It’s OK to eat chocolate this Valentine’s Day weekend – if you stick to dark chocolate and don’t overdo it. Chocolate contains flavonoids, which protect cells and promote heart health by lowering blood pressure and LDL (bad) cholesterol. But more isn’t better. Limit your consumption to no more than an once a day (about 150 calories) and look for “dark” or “semisweet” chocolate with at least 70 percent cocoa.

Delicious and healthy chocolate recipes.
